There are movies that inspire you, some that ignite you,
some that make you think, some that make you feel grateful but there are few
that make you celebrate life itself. All our lives we run behind something without
knowing what it is because we are told to. As we grow, we get entangled in a
web of man-made norms and terms which define who we are and where we stand in
life, and in that chaos, we miss life itself. People say you need to aim for the
sky only then you will at least reach the stars but what if we don’t want the sky
or the stars? Why we are so focussed on what we don’t have that we fail to
notice what we do have. Is passion overrated?
Soul is a wonderful film that portrays an intellectual thought in an animated premise. The film by itself is an example that not all beautiful things need to be extraordinary or complex. For example, when you dance and you start to like it then you start loving it that you do it all the time but why do you think it becomes worthy only when you reach a certain standard of achievement. Why being happy with what you already have is not one? Who writes these rules and why are we still following them? We force people to find their passion and push them to find their purpose as if they are lacking something on their own.

You know how our whole life is a scam, like our parents say
on our tenth/twelfth-grade exams, “just this once and your life will be settled”,
and that just continues forever until the second cycle starts, where you become
the parent. Likewise, we as adults procrastinate our life and happiness to fit
into so many labels that others created. Believe it or not, your life started
the second you were born and it will end the second you start chasing
something. There are a few instances in your life where you truly become content
and happy with what you have. So, instead of feeling like you are missing out
on the things you don’t have, start noticing the ordinary things that bring
you everyday happiness. God lies in the details and it is the little things
that matter the most. There is no finish line, so it ultimately becomes your
choice to whether run behind something or to wait and smell the roses as you
walk by.

We are so obsessed with other people’s lives and their versions
of achievement and success that we fail to notice where our happiness lies. We
stalk people on insta and their feeds and there is this sinking feeling in our
hearts like we are missing out on so many things but how often do you visit
your own feed and reminisce all the great times that you have had or
experienced. We are in the hunt for passion, a purpose that we lose our will, and
what’s life without will? Stop searching for the life you are in it already you
just gotta start living it. All the good things in the world are as simple as
Mother Teresa once said, "do ordinary things with extraordinary love". Keeping
this in mind, let’s write the most beautiful ordinary story together.

Well-written....👍👍👍
